**The Opportunity**
As the leader of the Primary Connect+ temperature controlled operations team, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the team responsible for freezer, chiller, and meat categories. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the team delivers exceptional service, achieves financial targets, and manages carrier relationships effectively.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will be responsible for enabling the execution and delivery of Primary Connect's $1B accelerated growth strategy. This will involve driving the adoption of new technology and processes that enhance the value proposition for all platform stakeholders, including team members, customers, carrier partners, and DC teams. You will also be responsible for leading the build of operational capability to transition historically non-integrated categories, such as meat and other short shelf-life products, onto the MyPrimaryConnect platform.
To achieve these goals, you will need to foster strong relationships with transport carriers, customers, internal business partners, service providers, and Distribution Centres. You will also need to ensure that the team delivers on key performance measures relating to safety, compliance, service, financial performance, and budget delivery.
Overall, your role is critical to the success of Primary Connect's growth strategy, and you will need to bring strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills to the position.
**Who we're looking for**:

- A high level of communication and interpersonal skills, including excellent conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated success in influencing and leadership of change projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong analytical capability, combined with a passion for continuous improvement.
- Proven capability in delivering high-quality outputs under pressure and in a fast turnaround time.
- A senior leader with 5+ years of temperature controlled commodity or transport background, highly regarded
