**Our Next Proposal Specialist, Oceania**

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Proposal Specialist to join our team This role will increase the efficiency of Okane's proposal process by managing the efficient development of sole sourced and competitive proposals for qualified consulting opportunities and competitive bids. It is a full-time role based in our Perth or Brisbane Office.

Our Global proposal group's mission is to Empower Okane's Operations and Business Development teams to win RFPs with compliant, compelling and persuasive proposal content.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Actively work to reduce time spent by SMEs on proposals without reducing quality
- Make sure internal clients are satisfied
- Maintain content control, accountability, and compliance
- Focus on outcomes/client solutions
- Relentlessly drive toward the win

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and compile all aspects of multiple proposals, ensuring Okane's value proposition is communicated effectively, and core processes are followed.
- Lead proposal kick-off meetings for the region.
- Schedule proposal activities and delegate technical content to appropriate resources.
- Complete compliance checks, formatting, editing, distribution, language, etc.
- Maintain registration in tender and vendor registration systems and track for opportunities.
- Review bid/tender requirements and complete prequalification forms.
- Develop/maintain proposal database and templates, including Okane CVs, client references, and past project summaries.
- Track proposal status progression in Deltek VantagePoint EMP software.

**Job Requirements**

- Strong Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint).
- Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.

- A keen eye for detail.
- Self-starting attitude, willingness to be innovative and look for new solutions and efficiencies to support a collaborative team.
- Previous experience in a similar role in a similar consulting industry is considered an asset.
- Ability to thrive in a team setting or work independently.
- A proactive approach to creating an efficient process in all tasks you do.
- An eagerness and willingness to learn and grow within and outside of the parameters of the role.
