Role Overview

The role of a Tender Coordinator is to assist in the preparation and submission of tenders and proposals. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, be able to work well under pressure and have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing tender documents including information gathering, collating documents and tracking deadlines
  • Coordinating proposal responses and inputs from multiple sources to produce high-quality sales and business proposals
  • Managing tender correspondence and registers in line with internal and external guidelines
  • Storing and maintaining accurate records of all tender-related documentation
  • Liaising with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants as required

Requirements

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Administration or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a commercial or contract administration role
  • Demonstrated good safety record and knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety
  • National Police Clearance
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Excellent time management, organisational and presentation skills
  • High level customer relationship management and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise, schedule and plan
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently using own initiative and within a cohesive team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook

Desirable Skills

The following skills would be highly advantageous:

  • Project Management experience
  • Previous experience in a tender proposal environment
  • Experience in a similar role in the construction or resources industry
  • Commercial contract formation and tendering processes experience
  • Demonstrated level of commercial insight
