Senior Software Engineer
We're looking for a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Site Reliability Engineering team. As a key member, you'll play a vital role in designing, building, and running resilient systems that foster a culture of learning and knowledge-sharing.
You'll work on solving complex cross-service and cross-domain problems, identifying root causes, and analyzing past incidents to learn from them. Your expertise will be essential in shaping our observability culture, diagnosing cross-domain issues, and building a unified experience of metrics, logs, and traces.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Engineering teams on reliability and performance issues
Build core capabilities like load testing, observability improvements, and advanced deployment mechanisms
Develop Go modules providing fundamental capabilities to applications (e.g., observability instrumentation)
Evolving Incident Management processes and engaging in post-incident reviews
Educating and driving the SRE mandate across the organization
Requirements:
Fluency in modern programming languages
Education in SRE concepts like SLOs
Experience with distributed systems, Unix/Linux internals, or networking
Understanding of monitoring, logging, tracing, and observability instrumentation
Human-handling skills with an ability to build and maintain healthy cross-team relationships
A product mindset and empathy with customers and product-engineering colleagues
