Federal government agency looking for a Property Capital Works Labour Hire to assist with high-value projects.

**Your new company**

Our client is a federal government agency based in Brisbane that provides a multitude of products and services to deliver strategic project plans in the area of high-value, complex capital works. Due to an increase in workload, they are looking to add an EL1/EL2 Property Capital Works to their branch to assist with their various and ongoing capital works projects.

**Your new role**

You will be responsible for the construction project management of capital works projects, including planning, design, approvals, procurement, delivery, and handover. You will lead and manage sensitive property projects, as well as manage project budgets, issues, risks, and contracts. Additionally, you will conduct regular project reporting, reviews, and business cases while communicating with internal and external stakeholders on project activities.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of property capital projects within a complex scope. Therefore, you will have a relevant discipline in construction, property, contract management and/or project management, with prior experience in project leadership and management. You will have a sound understanding of project management and construction management systems and principles, with skills in major program change and rollout being desirable. Given this role includes regular project reporting, you will be proficient in using MS Office programs as well as other project management software.

**What you'll get in return**

You will be offered an immediate start in an initial 12 month contracted role with a federal government agency, with the possibility of an extension. You will be offered a full-time temporary position paying a daily rate on the level of EL1 or EL2 rate + super (dependent on experience), located in Brisbane.
