Federal government agencies frequently require experts in property capital works to oversee high-value projects, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing financial risks.

The role involves strategic project planning for complex capital works in Brisbane, necessitating strong leadership skills, expertise in construction management, and proficiency in contract administration.

As a Property Capital Works professional, you will be responsible for managing construction projects from planning to handover, including design approvals, procurement, and risk management. You will lead sensitive property projects, manage budgets, and communicate with stakeholders on project activities.

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will have experience in project leadership, construction, property, contract management, or project management. A strong understanding of project management principles, MS Office skills, and proficiency in project management software are also essential.

In return, the selected candidate will receive an immediate start with a federal government agency, initially for 12 months, with the possibility of extension. The full-time temporary position comes with a daily rate on the level of EL1 or EL2 rate + superannuation (dependent on experience), based in Brisbane.
