Children's Ministry Leader

We are seeking a part-time Children's Ministry Leader to oversee programs at our multisite church.

  • Oversight of children's ministry work on Sundays, including planning curriculum and lessons, engaging volunteers, and delivering talks to children.
  • Alternate between sites in the morning, week by week.
  • Applicants who wish to remain at their site and undertake half the role will also be considered.

We have a growing number of children across our services, and we are looking for an addition to our team to continue to resource our programs and build up our children in Christ.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective children's ministry programs that cater to the needs of our diverse congregation.
  • Foster a safe and welcoming environment for children to grow in their faith.
  • Collaborate with volunteers and other staff members to ensure seamless execution of programs.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • A strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in children's ministry.
  • The ability to think creatively and adapt to changing circumstances.
