Financial Services Regulatory Specialist
This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with experienced lawyers in Melbourne and across our offices to gain exposure to complex superannuation and financial services regulatory work.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing guidance on regulatory obligations such as licensing and disclosure, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Negotiating commercial agreements, including outsourcing and distribution, to achieve business objectives while minimizing risk.
Collaborating with our M&A team on financial transactions, analyzing market trends and identifying opportunities for growth.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
Proven experience in financial services regulation and compliance, with a strong understanding of superannuation law and policy.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex information and make informed decisions.
