Financial Services Regulatory Specialist

This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with experienced lawyers in Melbourne and across our offices to gain exposure to complex superannuation and financial services regulatory work.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing guidance on regulatory obligations such as licensing and disclosure, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Negotiating commercial agreements, including outsourcing and distribution, to achieve business objectives while minimizing risk.
  • Collaborating with our M&A team on financial transactions, analyzing market trends and identifying opportunities for growth.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Proven experience in financial services regulation and compliance, with a strong understanding of superannuation law and policy.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex information and make informed decisions.
