An Australian Regulator are looking for a Superannuation specialist to join their team on a daily rate contract with a possibility of permanent after 12 months if the successful applicant desires, or continue on a contract basis.

To be successful in this role you will come from any Superannuation background and undertake supervision, risk and financial assessments of organisations. The team currently has individuals with backgrounds in Strategy, Project Management, Governance, Risk, Financial Advice and Law among others.

The role will also look at data and insights across the whole of the industry through a strategic lens to understand area of interest and potential policy areas that may need to be strengthened. In this role you will have to understand data provided by organisations, spot trends and lead a strategic piece of work.

In this role you will:

- Supervise financial institutions with a focus on financial strength and governance
- Analyse the financial safety implications of changes to business operations with a particular focus on mergers, acquisitions and divestments
- Liaise with stakeholders internally and externally in developing strategies to manage emerging risks
- Review and analyse policies as well as articulating the economic consequences and impact of reforms
- Produce data and provide industry insights to the senior executives

To be successful in this role you will:

- A background in superannuation is essential
- A background in project management, strategy, financial advice, risk, audit, accounting or consulting would be ideal.
- Ability to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders
