About the role
Administration Employee - Illawarra at Illawarra Mercury. This casual role is to be available to work Monday and Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, across six aged care centres (IRT Tarrawanna, IRT Woonona, IRT Marco Polo Woonona, IRT Marco Polo Unanderra, IRT William Beach Gardens – Kanahooka, and IRT Five Islands – Port Kembla). You will provide high-quality administrative support and help foster a welcoming, supportive community by anticipating residents' needs and supporting the local leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
Answering phone calls and responding to inquiries
Booking appointments
Performing data entry and general administrative tasks
Providing information to residents, families, visitors, contractors, and staff about IRT services
Representing IRT in a positive, professional manner to create a welcoming environment
To be successful you will have
Demonstrated experience in administration or customer service
High level customer service experience and skills
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to multitask, plan and prioritise to meet deadlines
Attention to detail and accuracy
Demonstrated problem-solving ability and coordination skills
Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures
Proficiency with tablets, smartphones, and computer systems including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
Current driver's license
