Reporting to the Production Team Leader, you will control the plant process and undertake inspections, maintenance, and monitoring on a 12-hour Night shift rotating roster, including weekends.
Your role will directly support safe and efficient plant operations.Other Key Responsibilities Include, But Aren't Limited ToInspecting plant equipment and monitoring coal preparation processesDiagnosing and resolving plant performance issuesPerforming routine mechanical maintenance and cleaning tasksUsing SAP to requisition spare parts and equipmentConducting sampling and manual process adjustmentsAbout YouYou'll be a safety-focused team player who takes pride in keeping equipment running reliably.
With a proactive mindset, you're able to troubleshoot issues quickly, work well under pressure, and contribute to a positive shift culture.
Strong communication skills and a commitment to continuous improvement will help you succeed in this role.You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:Working in a process or heavy industrial/manufacturing plant environmentFollowing safety standards and identifying non-conformancesPerforming hands-on mechanical maintenance tasksUsing SAP for ordering or maintenance activitiesQualifications, Skills, And CompetenciesCertificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitter) or boiler makerComputer skillsForklift licence (desirable)Dogging & Rigging (desirable)SAP experience (desirable)Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, including weekendsReady for a change?
