Main Responsibilities:

  • Inspecting plant equipment and monitoring coal preparation processes.
  • Diagnosing and resolving plant performance issues.
  • Performing routine mechanical maintenance and cleaning tasks.
  • Using software to requisition spare parts and equipment.
  • Conducting sampling and manual process adjustments.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a process or heavy industrial/manufacturing plant environment.
  • FOLLOWING safety standards and identifying non-conformances.
  • Performing hands-on mechanical maintenance tasks.
  • Using software for ordering or maintenance activities.
  • Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitter) or boiler maker.
  • Computer skills.
  • Forklift licence (desirable).
  • Dogging & Rigging (desirable).
  • Software experience (desirable).
  • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, including weekends.
