We're the largest provider of support services to people living with spinal cord injury in Australia.
We're currently looking for an exceptional Team Leader – Service Delivery to help us make a difference every day.
This is a permanent, full-time position located in Central Queensland.
What does a Team Leader do?
You will support a team of Client Service Officers (CSOs) to deliver high-quality support to our clients.
This includes ensuring services are delivered in line with client support plans, while ensuring Personal Support Workers (PSWs) are trained and competent to provide safe, effective care.
This role requires strong leadership, day-to-day decision-making, complaint management, problem solving, and the ability to continually improve service delivery at the individual, team, and departmental levels.
What will I be doing on a day-to-day basis?
Managing a team of CSOs to ensure efficient, effective delivery of client services within agreed budgets.
Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support service outcomes.
Reporting and managing complaints and critical client incidents in line with procedures.
Overseeing service contracts and budgets, implementing corrective actions where needed.
Collaborating with other Team Leaders, Recruitment, HR, and Rostering to support workforce and service delivery needs.
Promoting a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement across your team.
What do I need to have?
Essential: Tertiary or VET qualifications or relevant vocational experience in management or leadership.
Demonstrated ability to deliver quality service in a dynamic and fast paced business environment.
Desirable: Previous experience working in the disability or not for profit sectors.
Knowledge of disability and human services standards.
Supply a Covid 19 Certificate of Vaccination as per the Qld Health Direction for workers in a healthcare setting.
You will need a current Yellow Card (QLD) and a Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or be willing to apply for one You will also need to complete the free online NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
