Bluff Road Psychology (BRP) established in 2020, is a growing Boutique psychology service, compromising a highly qualified team of mental health clinicians. We are located adjacent to leading primary health care services, schools and a thriving Bayside residential precinct.
We offer a full range of psychology services including but not limited to depression, anxiety, grief and loss, child and adolescent, family counselling and neuropsychological assessments. As a Receptionist, you will work as part of an administration team providing phone, onsite reception, customer service and administrative assistance. You will be part of our excellent team who take care of our patients concerns with efficiency and a smile, ensuring our patients feel welcome and listened to regardless of the complexity of the requests. Also having customer service as a top priority whilst work efficiently in a fast-paced administrative role both over the phone and face to face. Additionally, general administration duties including data entry, diary management, file and document management, and refer patient requests inside appropriate systems.
About You
Ideally, you will:
- Have experience working in a customer service position (existing medical or psychology reception experience highly advantageous)
- Experience managing a high volume of patient calls with an excellent phone manner
- Be a strong communicator who can positively engage with people
- Be resilient and able to deal with distressed patients on occasion
- Be able to multi-task and prioritise to manage daily tasks
- Have high attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate work
- Be comfortable working in a dynamic environment
- Work well in a small team environment but also be a self-starter
- Demonstrate sound administrative skills and confidence using Microsoft Outlook and practice management software (we use Cliniko).
