**Clinic Receptionist & Social Media Assistant**

Are you a friendly, motivated, and detail-oriented career receptionist who loves delivering outstanding customer service _and_ has a flair for social media?
We’re looking for a mature, enthusiastic, and reliable **Receptionist with Social Media Experience** to join our welcoming team at **The Gut Centre**, Australia’s leading psychology clinic specialising in gut-brain health. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in creating a positive experience for every client.

**Roster**: Approx. 1-2 days per week (8:30am-5:00pm), with potential for additional days to cover staff leave. Must be available for a minimum of 3-4 days per week during December.

**About the Role**

You’ll be the friendly face (and voice) of our practice, providing exceptional client care, supporting our psychologists, and helping to manage our online presence across **LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms.**

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Greeting and supporting clients in a warm and professional manner
- Managing appointments, client enquiries, and payments using **Zanda (Power Diary)**:

- Processing Medicare and private health claims
- Educating new clients about our services
- Assisting with social media posts, updates, and community engagement
- Creating reports and maintaining accurate client records
- General reception and administration duties

**Skills & Experience**
- Minimum **2 years’ experience** in medical or allied health reception
- Strong **customer service focus** — you love helping people feel at ease
- Excellent communication, organisation, and multitasking skills
- Confident using **social media** (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram)
- Experience with Medicare billing and Mental Health Care Plans preferred
- Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills
- Comfortable with technology and quick to learn new systems and software.
- Reliable, professional, and well-presented
- A calm, caring nature
