Our client, is a leading provider of environmental, waste, and civil services across Australia, with a reputation for reliability, integrity, and environmental responsibility. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a Business Development Manager – Civil Services to join their expanding team.

This role is ideal for a commercially minded sales professional who thrives on developing new markets, building long-term customer partnerships, and delivering tangible revenue outcomes. You'll focus on expanding there non-destructive digging, drain cleaning, and civil service lines across key industries including construction, utilities, and infrastructure.

Role Responsibilities & Key Requirements:

  • Identify, target, and convert new business opportunities across civil, construction, utilities, and infrastructure sectors
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key contractors, councils, and utility providers
  • Achieve or exceed revenue and margin targets through proactive sales and account management
  • Prepare tender responses, proposals, and pricing submissions aligned with company standards
  • Collaborate with operations and service delivery teams to ensure exceptional customer outcomes
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform sales strategy
  • Confident communicator with strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Experience in B2B sales with a proven record of driving growth and developing long-term client relationships
  • Industry experience in NDD, industrial, waste, or civil services preferred
  • High level of initiative, professionalism, and commercial acumen
