Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for high-net-worth clients (HNWIs) and institutional clients.
- Understand client investment goals and needs to tailor appropriate solutions, products, and services.
- Regularly meet clients to discuss portfolio performance, market trends, and opportunities for expansion.
- Strategic Business Development:
- Work closely with the senior leadership team to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets.
- Identify new business opportunities within the existing client base and through new client acquisition.
- Collaborate with the sales, marketing, and trading teams to create and execute growth strategies.
- Client Portfolio Management:
- Ensure clients' investment portfolios are well-managed in line with their financial goals and risk profiles.
- Offer personalized advice on stock trading, investment strategies, and financial products.
- Guide clients on asset allocation, investment planning, and the implementation of strategies to maximize returns.
- Market Knowledge & Insights:
- Stay updated on the latest market trends, industry regulations, and financial products.
- Provide clients with regular market updates, forecasts, and actionable insights.
- Leverage market knowledge to support clients in making informed investment decisions.
- Team Leadership & Coordination:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Relationship Managers, ensuring effective client servicing and achieving KPIs.
- Ensure proper coordination between various internal departments (e.g., operations, compliance, and research).
- Train and develop team members in client handling and business development.
- Risk & Compliance Management:
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and compliance standards in all client interactions.
- Mitigate risks by ensuring that client transactions are executed in a compliant manner and clients are well-informed about the risks involved.
- Reporting & Analysis:
- Regularly report on client activities, portfolio performance, and business development outcomes to senior leadership.
- Analyze client feedback to improve service offerings and client satisfaction.
Skills & Qualifications
- Education:
- MBA (Finance) / Post Graduate degree in Business, Finance, or related fields.
- Certifications such as NISM (National Institute of Securities Markets) certification, CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), or equivalent are preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in client relations, wealth management, or stock broking.
- At least 3-5 years in a managerial or leadership role with a proven track record of managing client relationships and business growth.
- Deep understanding of the Indian stock market, financial instruments, and investment strategies.
- Prior experience with HNWIs, institutional clients, and high-value portfolios.
- Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships at senior levels.
- In-depth market knowledge and ability to provide value-added investment advice.
- Strong business acumen and ability to drive revenue growth through client acquisition and retention.
- Leadership and team management skills with a focus on collaboration and results.
- Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and develop strategic plans.
