Key Responsibilities

  • Technology Strategy & Vision:
  • Define and execute the overall technology roadmap, aligning with the firm's business goals and market trends.
  • Lead the research and adoption of new technologies, to enhance product offerings and operational efficiency.
  • Act as a technical advisor to the Board of Directors on all technology-related matters.
  • Product Development & Architecture:
  • Oversee the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) for all stock market products, from concept to launch.
  • Architect robust, scalable, and secure technology platforms for trading, portfolio management, and customer-facing applications.
  • Ensure all applications comply with financial regulations and industry standards (e.g., SEBI guidelines).
  • Leadership & Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and expand the technology team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence.
  • Manage technology budgets, resources, and vendor relationships.
  • Implement best practices in agile development methodologies, code quality.
  • Operational Excellence:
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the technology department.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in technology leadership roles, with a minimum of 10 years in a senior management position within the Fin-Tech or stockbroking industry.
  • Deep expertise in designing and building scalable, high-performance applications for a financial services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of trading systems, market data feeds, and financial instruments.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large teams and complex projects.
