Key Responsibilities

  • Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements.
  • Process Analysis: Analyze and map existing business processes; recommend improvements leveraging ERP functionalities.
  • Specification Development: Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for ERPNext or similar ERP platforms.
  • System Configuration: Assist in configuration, customization, and module testing within the ERP system.
  • Workflow & Reporting: Design and implement workflows, reports, dashboards, and business rules to support business operations.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with developers and technical teams to implement and validate ERP solutions.
  • UAT & Training Support: Facilitate user acceptance testing and conduct end-user training sessions.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain business process documentation, system configuration records, and user manuals.
  • Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot system issues and address user queries effectively and efficiently.
  • Liaison Role: Serve as the bridge between business users and IT/ERP teams to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in ERP environments.
  • Hands-on experience with ERPNext or other ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Odoo).
  • Strong understanding of key business functions: Finance, Procurement, Inventory, HR, Sales, etc.
  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL, MS Excel, and ERP reporting tools is an added advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritize multiple tasks.

Preferred Skills (Nice To Have)

  • Experience with ERPNext customization using the Frappe framework.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Understanding of accounting principles and finance modules.
  • Experience in data migration and ERP system integration.
