Brookfield is committed to the development of our people through challenging work assignments and exposure to diverse businesses.**Job Description****Purpose of the role:**Plays a key role in the identification, evaluation, recommendation and management of investment opportunities in the infrastructure sector across the data, midstream, transport and utilities sectors supporting Brookfield Infrastructure’s equity funds.The successful candidate will be responsible for execution of a transaction, which includes conducting the due diligence and analysis, preparing the business plan and other tasks. In addition, the Vice President will be assisting with the origination and development of investment opportunities.The ideal candidate will have extensive infrastructure experience, sound analytical capabilities; and strong commercial sense and communication skills.Execution* Lead execution of transactions, collaborating with internal partners and business group leads as well as interfacing with counterparties and external advisors* Lead due diligence process and associated analysis to validate the business plan supporting an acquisition* Work with legal, tax and other internal teams, lead the transaction execution process, including ensuring transaction documentation and structuring is consistent with the business case* Prepare investment committee presentation materials and other documents such as bid letters* Present analysis to senior leaders in a clear and succinct mannerBusiness Development* Support the implementation of the business development and transaction strategy* Lead industry and market research to support the development of investment strategies or identify transaction opportunities* Support the investment thesis and identification of value creation strategies and assist in developing ideas for a transaction / deal structure* Network and develop new investment ideas to grow the businessAsset Management* Work with management teams on strategic business initiatives at portfolio companies* Monitor ongoing financial and operational performance of investments**Qualifications/Experience/Skills*** 6+ years of infrastructure experience as an investment professional or in investment banking;* A track record of leading end-to-end execution of a transaction;* Superior financial modelling and due diligence capabilities;* Strong negotiation and relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders;* Organized and detail-oriented; ability to work in situations with changing priorities and multiple simultaneous assignments;* Excellent verbal and written communication; experience presenting analyses to senior leaders and ability to lead and drive initiatives.**Key Competencies*** Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment* Self-motived with respect to both managing workload and own professional development* A professional, positive attitude and capable of contributing to a dynamic and team-oriented culture* Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail* Team-oriented and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop collaborative relationships at all levels in the organization* Acts quickly and efficientlyBrookfield is committed to maintaining a Positive Work Environment that is safe and respectful; our shared success depends on it.
