This national leadership role is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our Mining Services offering, driving strategy, growth, and operational excellence across Australia.

Role Overview
Based in either WA or Queensland this role will report to the Executive General Manager – Palletised Express & Linehaul, you will:

  • Develop and execute a competitive Mining Services strategy with a strong customer value proposition.
  • Lead all operational aspects of our Mining Services nationally – including network efficiency, resource optimisation, and service quality.
  • Identify and capitalise on emerging market opportunities and trends in the Australian mining sector.
  • Protect and grow existing customer relationships while developing new channels for growth.
  • Establish and implement product strategies and initiatives tailored to the mining sector.
  • Oversee operational performance, including fleet, personnel, and infrastructure, ensuring high standards of safety and delivery excellence.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance our logistics platform, including property, technology, and value-added services.
  • Provide senior leadership and mentoring to regional teams to deliver high-performance outcomes
  • Consideration for this role to be based out of WA or Queensland

About You
You are a visionary leader with a strong commercial acumen and a passion for operational excellence. You're someone who can inspire, strategise, and deliver comfortable making tough decisions, optimising performance, and driving cultural change across dispersed teams.

You're ready to take ownership and lead our Palletised Express Mining Services business into its next phase of growth and efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills
We're looking for a proven senior leader with:

  • Extensive experience in transport, logistics, or supply chain operations – ideally within the mining sector.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and drive strategic opportunities.
  • Demonstrated success in leading large, distributed operational teams across diverse geographies.
  • A results-driven approach to customer service, stakeholder engagement, and operational performance.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Ability to travel nationally as required.
