The Role
The
Partner Manager
role is accountable for managing a key partnership for Auto & General. This includes supporting the development and execution of the Partnerships strategy and helping to drive its performance. Key accountabilities include the ownership of Partner sales performance, contract management, Partner Service Levels, relationship management and the communication of key priorities, changes & impacts.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide input into the Partnerships strategic objectives, and support the translation of these to operational plans incorporating financial, operational, people, customer, risk and community objectives.
- Drive performance to support the growth and key strategic objectives of the Partner. This includes working with the broader partnerships teams across P&A Delivery and Operations to deliver key partner initiatives
- Operate within and support the Company's risk management, governance, compliance and accountability frameworks.
- Drive the day-to-day performance of and engagement with the Partner(s) from an account management, contract management, relationship management and change communication perspective.
- Support the governance frameworks for ensuring contractual commitments and processes are followed and adhered to.
- Build of strong long-term Partnership arrangement through strong focus on relationships, sales performance and contractual/commercial discipline.
- Drive aggressive and sustainable growth for the Partnership(s), by working closely with Partners, relevant business units and other key internal stakeholders to improve/expand products/services capability.
- Work closely with the Partner(s) and the Partnerships and Alliances Delivery Team, plus other A&G business units as required, to execute on key A&G & Partner initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with the Partnerships & Alliances Delivery Team to understand and calibrate on the status of key Partner initiatives, including to discuss any risks to delivery (e.g. Partner or A&G driven delays) to support engagement/communication to White Label Partners.
- Responsible for Partner internal and external reporting, including sales reporting and the delivery program status reporting that is developed in collaboration with the Partnerships & Alliances Delivery Team.
- Responsible for the preparation and facilitation of key account engagement with the Partner(s), including WIPs, monthly meetings, steerco meetings, delivery workshops and any other client facing meetings.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships and operating rhythms with internal and external stakeholders to drive the growth and success of the Partnership(s).
Qualifications & Experience
You possess hands-on experience in driving results through strong relationships and stakeholder engagement. You demonstrate expertise in design thinking, process engineering, and problem-solving using formal programs and processes.
Additionally, You Possess The Following
- A formal qualification in a relevant field, such as a Degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
- At least 5 years of experience in partner account management.
- Proven success in managing, and growing partnerships.
- Expertise in design thinking, process engineering, and problem-solving, utilizing a structured program or process.
- Practical experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and implementing changes across all levels of an organization.
- Experience in operating within a continuous improvement framework within a multi-departmental organization.
- In-depth experience and understanding of the insurance industry.
