Here at Linear, we are a not-for-profit organisation that supports medical research by delivering world-class clinical trials across a wide range of therapeutic areas across our clinical trial centres in Joondalup and Nedlands.
We're looking for passionate, customer-focused people to join our Participant Engagement team. Our Participant Engagement team are the first point of contact for our clinical trial participants - providing study-specific information, answering questions, and conducting pre-screening interviews over the phone to determine suitability for upcoming trials. This is a service-driven, goal-oriented team who contribute to team targets and directly see the impact of their work on the success of our trials.
Your Role in Our Future
We're on the lookout for multiple Customer Engagement Officers to join our team. In this role, you will work alongside a fun and experienced team managing inbound enquiries and proactively generating outbound sales across our range of clinical trials.
Some of your duties will include:
- Manage inbound and outbound phone calls, emails, and web enquiries
- Review online applications and conduct pre-screening interviews with prospective volunteers
- Conducting a high volume of outbound calls in response to warm incoming leads and marketing campaigns
- Schedule appointments with the clinic teams following pre-screening interview
- Ensure participants receive prompt and accurate responses to inquiries
- Accurately enter and maintain data.

Your Experience
As the ideal candidate, you'll LOVE being on the phone and enjoy being busy and engaged all day providing great customer service and finding that time flies whilst doing so. You'll also bring:
- Exceptional telephone manner, well spoken, clear, friendly and polite
- Strong written communication skills, including email etiquette
- A customer-focused and empathetic approach with the ability to negotiate
- Solid computer literacy and confidence using multiple systems (CRM, online portals etc.)
- The ability to prioritise tasks, stay organised and capture information clearly and concisely
- A positive attitude and motivation to achieve team goals and targets
- Previous call centre/ sales experience is a bonus, but a fantastic attitude and eagerness to learn are essential We provide all the training you need to succeed.
