Contract Administrator – Construction Landscaping

Are you looking for a Company that places a high value on its people and culture?  Are you looking for a role that is challenging but rewarding?  We are seeking a self-motivated Contracts Administrator who will be a vital team member in the growth and development of our Construction Department. This role will work alongside our Project Managers and Site Team.  Your ability to multi-task, think laterally and meet deadlines whilst maintaining your sense of self will be absolute key to fitting into the busy hub of the LE Construction team.

Duties will include:

  • Review and negotiate subcontracts
  • Preparation of subcontractor packages, scope and procurement schedules
  • Record and maintain document flow to and from all stakeholders (internally and externally)
  • Ability to demonstrate attention to detail together with the understanding of reading and interpretation of drawing and specifications
  • Manage the tracking and reporting of project expenditure
  • Progress claim assistance and variations
  • Tender Estimating, including quantity take-offs, costings and qualitative criteria
  • Assist in scheduling and reprogramming

Skills the role requires:

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Task driven multi-tasking ability with a can do attitude
  • Excellent computer skills together with high levels across Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook). Onscreen Take-off  MYOB Advanced, Workbench
  • Proven experience working within a CA Role and estimating (min 2 yr preferred)
  • An understanding of contract law highly desirable
  • Experience within Commercial Landscape Construction highly desirable, but not completely essential.  Transferring your CA skills from relatable fields, will all be considered.
