Contracts Administrator

Engagement: Short-Term Contract | Immediate Start
We are seeking a highly capable Contracts Administrator to support a major Perth-based infrastructure project. This role will focus on post-contract administration, ensuring subcontractor performance, financial integrity, and compliance with project delivery requirements. Preference will be given to candidates with experience on mechanical packages within large-scale construction or infrastructure environments.
Key Responsibilities- Administer contracts throughout the post-award lifecycle, including compliance, variations, claims, and payments.
- Manage subcontractor correspondence, progress claims, and RFI/VO submissions.
- Ensure alignment with head contract requirements and project reporting obligations.
- Monitor and manage cost control, forecasting, and cashflow in line with project budgets.
- Support project managers in resolving contractual and commercial issues.
- Prepare accurate monthly reports and maintain contractual documentation.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent.
- 3–7 years' experience in contracts administration, ideally within civil or mechanical infrastructure projects.
- Strong background in post-contract administration (subcontracts, variations, progress claims, payment schedules).
- Previous experience with mechanical or multi-disciplinary packages highly regarded.
- Proficiency in MS Office and contract management systems (e.g., Aconex, SAP, JD Edwards).
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and deliver to deadlines.
- Work on a landmark Perth infrastructure project.
