This is an exciting opportunity to join Kuraland Developments as a Contracts Administrator. In this full-time role, you will play a pivotal part in the successful delivery of our mixed use residential and commercial projects. Working closely with supervisors, project managers and key stakeholders, you will oversee all aspects of contract administration to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities
As a Contracts Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the full lifecycle of contracts and project administration, including:
- Preparing, reviewing, and managing contracts including SOW creation, extensions of time, and variations
- Monitoring project budgets, Subcontractor claims, compliance requirements, and reporting accurately to stakeholders
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain strong relationships
- Assisting in tender preparation, RFQ, procurement processes, and ensuring timely engagement of trades, materials, and services to ensure the site team have the means to build to the program
- Administering claims, progress payments, and financial documentation including assisting with monthly PCG reports
- Identifying and mitigating financial project risks to support timely resolutions
- Onboarding and monitoring subcontractors' documentation along side the HESQ manager, so they remain compliant while working on our projects.
- Supporting project managers in ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standard
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- 3–5+ years of proven experience in Contract Administration within the construction industry (commercial, mixed use mid - high rise residential projects)
- Relevant tertiary qualifications such as a Certificate IV in Building Project Support (Contract Administrator) or Construction Management, or a related field (degree or diploma preferred)
- Strong understanding of Western Australian regulations, codes, contract law, and cost control
- Experience in preparing and managing contracts, subcontracts, variations, procurement, and claims
- Proficiency in a construction software such as Procore, Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organisational skills, high attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple packages and deadlines
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Project WHS documentation skills will be highly valued
