Myer is looking for a Strategic Partnerships Manager (known at Myer as PM - Strategic Partnership) to lead and execute the growth plan for its Financial Services Partnerships program. This role is responsible for managing key partners to increase customer redemptions and generate revenue for Myer, all while operating within budgeted expenses. With a strong focus on delivering targeted profit and loss outcomes, the Program Manager plays a key role in driving value through strategic collaboration and commercial innovation.
About the role:
- Manage existing Financial Services Partnerships: Establish, nurture, and grow key partnerships with CBA, Velocity and AMEX, and other relevant stakeholders to enhance Myer's Partnerships offerings and customer base.
- Negotiate and Execute Partnership Agreements: Manage negotiations and ensure mutually beneficial agreements with partners, ensuring alignment with Myer's business goals.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between Myer and external partners, ensuring clear communication, effective collaboration, and the successful execution of initiatives.
- Drive Revenue Growth and Performance: Monitor partnership performance, analyse data, and implement strategies to optimise financial outcomes, including driving new business, increasing sales, and improving customer acquisition.
- Market Insights and Strategy Development: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new partnership opportunities, trends, and areas for innovation.
About you:
- Minimum 3+ years' experience in Financial Services and/or Relationship management role
- Project management and cross-functional skills with ability to manage, prioritise, implement and analyse various initiatives in fast paced environment
- High level of competence with MS suite - Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Demonstrated experience in creating, disseminating and presenting key business insights and/or strategy initiatives clearly and concisely to various stakeholders, including senior management
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills with an aptitude for process and customer journey design based on data and customer insights
- Strong financial acumen with ability to build and communicate financial business cases to support initiatives
- Relentless customer first mentality - so viewing all content, communications and strategies through a customer lens is critical
- Ability to influence with authority and manage senior stakeholders to drive change and bring multiple partners and stakeholders to a unified consensus
- Demonstrated ability to self-start, carve opportunities out of ambiguity, and operate with a high degree of independence in a white space environment
- A dedicated team player with a passion for innovation and the ability to maintain a positive attitude and culture in the face of challenges
