You will work as a key part of our Client Care team and enjoy a broad variety of admin tasks to help the firm run smoothly. These include:
- Reception duties in conjunction with a fellow team member. This is not high volume but a critical part of the role given our quality client base. The role does not include reception phone enquires
- Coordinating workflow within the client care team (consisting of 3 people in addition to yourself) to ensure the smooth processing of paperwork
- General administrative tasks, including data entry, preparing documents and email reminders for client meetings, file opening, printing/scanning documents and general file management
- Safe Custody of clients' original documents and mail
- Training of new Client Care team members
The position suits an organised, efficient, detailed and friendly personality who enjoys a variety of tasks and works well within a team.
Please note that this role is permanently situated on level 4 of the Toowong Tower, which is our client reception area. Our reception area has two seats which allows one other support person to always be present in addition to this role. The rest of our team (including our lawyers) are on level 10 of the Toowong Tower. This role involves coordination of team members & workflows within the support seat on level 4 as well as level 10.

We are a specialty legal practice working in the area of estates and inheritances and our legal team is one of the most experienced teams in this area in Queensland. The firm has well-established systems/checklists and work practices along with beautiful views and fit out.
The firm continues to grow and we have recently taken more office space to accommodate new lawyers to join the team (we are growing at 10% per year).

The Position
The position is full time. Applicants wanting a 4-day working week with the right experience are also strongly encouraged to apply.
Qualities we are looking for
You must have the following qualities and be able to demonstrate them from previous roles (key criteria):
- 2-3+ years experience in office administration (not necessarily legal), with coordination/team lead experience preferable
- strong administrative and organisational skills
- accuracy and a very good eye for detail
- strong customer service focus
- a genuine 'all rounder' that loves to turn their hand to a variety of tasks
- intermediate/advanced MS Office skills
- excellent communication skills including written, oral and interpersonal
- good team player with a can do attitude
- a pride in your work and your presentation
