
Therapeutic Youth House Manager

Our client has a dedicated and experienced management team committed to the young people they support across NSW. By joining this progressive organisation you will be employed in a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the therapeutic operations, compliance and quality of care across multiple residential homes in Sydney.
Some of the responsibilities will include.
• Provide direct supervision and mentorship to Therapeutic Caseworkers, and Therapeutic Care Workers, ensuring alignment with trauma-informed care practices.
• Lead and inspire a team of therapeutic care workers in diverse settings, including residential care, mentoring, and contact visits.
• Ensure that all residential homes operate within a therapeutic framework, embedding trauma-informed principles into daily care routines.
•Supervise Therapeutic Caseworkers and support workers, ensuring they meet performance, compliance, and professional development standards.
•Act as the primary liaison between residential teams, external stakeholders, and funding bodies, ensuring seamless service coordination.
•Work closely with DCJ caseworkers, psychologists, educators, medical professionals, and legal teams to ensure wraparound support for children.
•Ensure all residential homes fully comply with OCG accreditation standards, NSW Child Safe Standards, and MYS Policies & Procedures.
• Participate in paid on-call duties to ensure continuous support.
Apart from a great attitude that puts young people-first, you will need the following to be successful for the role;
• A bachelor's degree in social work, Psychology, Counselling, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in case management, therapeutic residential care, or child protection services.
• Experience in developing and implementing behaviour support plans, risk assessments, and therapeutic interventions.
• Previous experience working with children and young people in Out of Home Care (OOHC) or high-risk settings.
• Strong knowledge of NSW child protection legislation, OOHC accreditation standards, and trauma-informed care models.
And a valid and current Driver's License, Working with Children Check, Satisfactory Criminal History Check, NDIS Workers Screening.
