Due to a vacancy in the team, we are currently seeking an experienced and hands-on HR Coordinator to join the team based at our Head Office, South Oakleigh, Melbourne.

The Role

Reporting to the National Human Resources Manager, you will be assisting in support of people leaders nationally across the HR portfolio, including advice and support on HR-related matters, compliance, and culture to support your key internal client base.

About the position

This role is responsible for:

  • Manage the HR department Administration
  • Provide basic HR advice and policy guidance to key stakeholders in HR-related matters
  • Assist employees with queries and assist in resolving issues
  • Prepare and process HR documentation, contracts and contract variations
  • Compile and develop monthly HR metrics reporting
  • Prepare resignation and end of employment letters, statement of service letters and any applicable employee life cycle documentation
  • Manage employee probation and assist with the off-boarding process
  • Manage and advise on casual conversion enquiries
  • Drive company values to promote a positive culture and an engaged workforce
  • Assist with ad hoc project based communications and rollouts

About your experience:

To ensure your success, you will possess the following.

  • Minimum 2 years proven experience in an HR administrative/generalist coordinator role is advantageous
  • Tertiary qualified in Human Resources or related field, highly regarded
  • Understanding of Fair Work Act, NES, and Awards
  • Experience in preparing HR metrics and reporting desirable
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management including ability to build trust within your internal stakeholder groups
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft/excel skills including formulas essential
