Box Hill RSL is seeking a service professional to join our front desk reception team. Reporting to the Senior Receptionist and Operations Manager, you will be the 'first port of call' providing front desk services to both Club members, guests and other visitors.
The Role
Involves all aspects of front office reception, including delivering effortless guest experiences, providing friendly, personalised customer service in responding to enquiries, promoting the business, taking bistro reservations, ensuring full and accurate data capture, and being responsible for the smooth running of the reception desk.
This is a casual position, 2-3 days/nights per week, available for an immediate start.
We are seeking candidates that share our values of customer service, community, working as a team member, a can-do attitude, calm under stress and always aiming to improve the service provided. Pride in customer service and close attention to detail is essential along with high standards of personal presentation, excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills and experience with front office systems.
The Ideal Candidate
Will have a first aid certificate and demonstrate a passion for customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all guests, strong skills in promoting and selling our services and facilities.
Previous front office reception experience in a club hospitality environment would be highly regarded.
The successful applicant must be available to work shifts AM (until 5pm) and PM (until 9pm) Monday to Friday, weekends and public holidays, and have entitlements to work in Australia.
Ideally you will have:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Excellent communications skills
- Outstanding customer service
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to perform under pressure and multi-tasking skills
- Flexibility with working hours
- Professional presentation
- Food and beverage experience is an advantage
