
Practice Support Specialist

As the Practice Support Specialist, you will be responsible for guiding orthodontic practices through their DentiCare & OrthoEngage software platform onboarding journey, from initial setup to full adoption.
You'll combine relationship management, product expertise, and training delivery to ensure every practice receives a seamless onboarding experience that drives early and ongoing success.
You'll work closely with our sales, product, and provider support teams to provide hands-on support, address operational needs, and set each practice up to confidently engage patients and convert treatment plans using the DentiCare OrthoEngage digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for orthodontic practices during the onboarding period (typically 4 - 8 weeks).
- Deliver onboarding and training sessions to practice teams including treatment coordinators, front desk staff, accounts staff and practice managers.
- Assist with digital setup including payment plan configuration, treatment plan templates, and platform access.
- Educate practices on OrthoEngage's features, including patient messaging, SMS journeys, secure payments, and reporting/reconciliation workflows.
- Support adoption of payment workflows, including deposit collection, full payment options, and payment plans.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to ensure a smooth handover from signed deal to onboarding kick-off.
- Identify and resolve onboarding roadblocks/concerns early.
- Prepare tailored onboarding plans and formal checklists based on practice size, case volume, and digital readiness.
- Track onboarding KPIs including activation time, first plan submitted, and engagement rate.
- Provide feedback to Product on platform improvements and practice needs.
Your Skills & Experience
- 3+ years' experience in client onboarding, account management, or sales support, ideally in SaaS, fintech, or healthcare.
- Prior experience in payments, dental/orthodontic practices, or digital platforms is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, confident delivering product demos, training sessions, and practice-facing conversations.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple onboarding journeys simultaneously.
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively across teams.
- A problem-solver mindset with a proactive approach to client success.
- Sydney-based with willingness to travel.
