We have an exciting opportunity for a successful Project Manager to join the NSW team. The Project Manager role is a role responsible for the delivery of projects within scope, designated timeframes and budget. To achieve this outcome the project manager must correctly plan the project from conception through to completion.

The Project Manager is the key point of contact for the client and must provide leadership and strategic direction to their team until the project finalisation review has been completed.

Reporting to Senior Project Manager, your responsibilities include (

):

  • Manage Contracts
  • Coordinate project management process from start to finish from and adapt work as required
  • Managing relationships with internal team, clients and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered within budget, on time and of the required quality
  • Designing risk mitigation plan and managing client's expectations
  • Conducting project review and creating detailed reports for executive staff
  • Optimising and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary
  • Securing growth opportunities and initiating new projects
  • Managing large and diverse teams
  • Control risk on each project and manage client's expectations
  • Understand and satisfy client's needs
  • Manage/facilitate the procurement, tendering, delivery and design processes
  • Training and coaching of team subordinates
  • Operate with a best practice approach to health and safety

Skills & experience:

  • Degree qualified in Construction Management or equivalent
  • Ideally 3+ years' in a similar role
  • Experience working on medium density construction projects in excess of $20m in value
  • Knowledge of Sydney construction market and subcontractors
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Microsoft Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
