Are you a marketing all-rounder who loves combining creativity with organisation? Newcastle Weekly and Hunter & Coastal Lifestyle, is seeking a Marketing & Media Advisor to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you'll help shape the marketing voice of our brand while providing essential support to our account management team, ensuring campaigns run smoothly from concept through to delivery.

  • Newcastle Weekly – A trusted, free, local publication that connects readers with the heart of the community. Google News accredited, proudly local, proudly free.
  • Hunter & Coastal Lifestyle – A beautifully produced premium lifestyle magazine showcasing the best in food, home, fashion, design, travel, and people across the region.
The Role

This is a varied and fast-paced position that blends marketing and media coordination. You'll play a key role in managing advertising bookings, coordinating marketing activities, and supporting client campaigns across both print and digital.

  • Create and oversee content for social media, websites, EDMs and advertising campaigns.
  • Creating and managing content across social, digital, and print channels.
  • Coordinating advertising placements and campaign bookings.
  • Managing invoicing, sales administration, and campaign scheduling.
  • Assist the Account Management team with client proposals and presentations.
  • Track performance and report on campaign success.

  • Liaising with clients and media partners to ensure smooth campaign delivery.

  • Play an active role in driving marketing and promotional activities across Newcastle Weekly and Hunter & Coastal Lifestyle.

We're Looking For Someone Who
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or Business (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in marketing, media coordination, or sales support.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail.
  • Confident working in a busy fast paced environment.
  • A team-first attitude and a genuine interest in local media and community storytelling
  • Holds a valid driver's licence.
