Our Newcastle office is Enigma Media HQ but with offices in Sydney and Brisbane we stay connected to the media industry across Australia. Our centralised media teams plan and buy all media channels Nationally across our diverse client base.

The Performance Media Director role in the Newcastle office will work closely with our media team, help us build our SEM and overall performance / digital product. 

The Performance Director will be required to build strong relationships with our top tier clients and provide a high level of service and by providing search solutions that will help grow their business through performance channels. As we are still in growth phase the role will be hands on. Be prepared to get your hands dirty working in the ad platforms. The Performance Media Director will be able to work at a senior strategic level, through to implementation, whilst work with cross functional teams to deliver on the day-to-day. 

The Performance Media Director will be responsible for the output of performance marketing strategies, with a core skillset and experience working across search marketing accounts. The Performance Media Director will be responsible for training and upskilling the teams on all things search but also for best practice performance processes across all digital platforms. 

We are a media agency that always strives to be the best and offer the best media product. SEM is one of our most important channels, so we want the best search product in the market. We are looking for someone to help us deliver the best SEM and performance media product to our clients.

Experience:

  • At least 8+ years' search marketing experience
  • Performance media strategy including performance audits, forecasting results and channel and budget recommendations
  • Experience with search & overall performance media reporting - analyse data, make optimisation decisions, and clearly articulate results and optimisations to clients
  • Experience using relevant optimisation software (Enigma use SA360)
  • Highly analytical disposition and advanced Excel skills
  • Experience in mentoring and training staff on performance media

Skills:

  • A thorough understanding of all performance ad platforms and bid management tools eg. Ads Manager, SA360, DV360
  • Google and Bing accredited
  • A master of Google Analytics
  • A thorough understanding of the back end of a website to be able to set up tracking and conversion goals
  • Problem solving & critical thinking
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Highly productive
