About the Role

We are seeking a personable and motivated Retail Sales Assistant to join our team on a casual basis (18 hours per week). This position includes rostered shifts with weekend work and an immediate start. You will be the welcoming face of Alpaca Passion – helping customers discover our products, sharing the story behind alpaca wool and creating a memorable shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service and personalised styling advice
  • Share product knowledge, including the benefits of alpaca fibre and sustainability values
  • Process sales transactions and handle cash/EFTPOS
  • Opening and closing the store
  • Maintain visual merchandising and store presentation
  • Fulfil online orders and support basic stock management
  • Ensure the store remains clean, organised and inviting

About You

  • Warm, friendly and confident at engaging with customers
  • Passionate about fashion, styling and natural fibres (experience is a bonus, but enthusiasm is essential)
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Reliable, well-presented and able to work independently
  • Available to work weekends as part of a roster
