About us

Sault Restaurant is located in Sailors Falls, Daylesford. One of the spa country's best restaurants, set on a spectacular 125 acre estate with an extensive kitchen garden. Our menus are designed with a focus on seasonal high quality produce, directly from the farm source itself. We have our own kitchen gardens providing seasonal produce and enhancing the dinning experience of farm to plate. Quality not quantity is very important to us and a supportive work environment for all. We have a team of 5 chef's working together to help create an exceptional dinning experience.

About the role

You will be assisting in delivering high quality food within a talented team of chef's. Learning from an experienced team and having a opportunity to gain your qualification as a chef at one of Victoria's best restaurants. Sault operates from Wednesday to Sunday and this position is full time.

About you

  • We are seeking a CDP or similar, ready to take the next step in their career. You will ideally have experience as a cook/chef working within a restaurant or bistro environment however this is not essential as we will train you and enhance your skills.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience as a cook/chef is preferred for this Chef de Partie position.
  • Enthusiastic, passionate and committed to delivering high quality produce at one of the regions best restaurants. Must have own mode of transport.

Must be available for interview and trial. Immediate start available. Must have own transport.
