About the company/role:

Our client is a trusted provider of high-quality consumables to laboratories across a diverse range of industries using specialised analytical instrumentation. They are currently seeking a Chemistry Graduate to join their team in a Technical Sales & Administrative role. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in analytical testing who is looking to transition from the lab into a dynamic, office-based position. You'll be supporting clients, managing product inquiries, and contributing to business development initiatives—all while building your commercial skill set. 

Duties:

  • Answering client questions via call and e-mail
  • Provide quotations and generate invoices
  • Dispatch customer orders and liaise with courier companies
  • Become a technical expert on the companies product range
  • Work closely with Sales and Technical team members
  • Assist with end-of-month reporting and file management

Skills/experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related discipline
  • Previous experience working in a Chemistry Laboratory is highly regarded
  • Experience using ICP/ HPLC/ LCMS/ GCMS is beneficial to the role
  • Previous experience is a customer facing role is highly regarded
