About the Role

You will be working alongside a team of highly driven and enthusiastic individuals who do not take themselves too seriously but do take what they do very seriously.

Key Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Ability to manage a diverse portfolio of complex/sensitive/high risk Commercial Property claims.
• Act as a referral point for claims officers to provide advice and approvals above authority
• Reviewing and settling of problematic cases.
• Setting reserves and authorising payment within scope of authority.
• Providing information and feedback on claims activity and developing trends to underwriters/risk assessors to enable appropriate actions to be carried out.

About You

• At least 5 years claims experience of Commercial property claims.
• Excellent knowledge of the General Insurance Code of Practice, Insurance Contracts Act, breach management and escalation process, complaints handling and monitoring.
• Experience in providing advice to peers within a claims team.
• Experience in dealing with a Broker Network.
