**About North**
Based in North Sydney and overlooking the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge, we are a specialist advisor and consultancy to property, construction, and development projects nationally. We deliver successful project outcomes by managing cost, scope, risk, design, feasibility, and programme. We ensure that our advice is always balanced and provides a whole of project perspective.
Our clients include State governments, company boards, financiers, developers, builders, governments, PPP Sponsors and tertiary education providers.
**The opportunity**
We have upcoming opportunities for you to join us and continue to build your career within our Commercial and Claims Management practice.
Working in a true partnership with our customers, you will have utilised your qualifications and commercial management experience and be fully conversant with the methodologies for calculation of recoverable costs and have previous experience with the development and defence of construction claims.
**_You will _**
- Track and control project costs
- Assess and administer contract claims
- Develop and prepare cost claims
- Be able to be client facing
- Have working knowledge of standard forms of construction Contract (NEC, FIDIC etc)
**_About you:_**
- Construction (either civil or building) industry experience
- Have a relevant degree and working towards (or already have) professional accreditation
- Have developed (or are developing) skills in cost control, claims management or contract administration
- Be great with people
- Be able to author detailed technical documents
- Be familiar with delay analysis mythologies
