Salary: $75,000 – $77,000 per annum (plus superannuation)We are seeking a qualified and experienced Chef to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality meals while maintaining food safety and hygiene standards.Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning of menus, including determining food quantities and costs.
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes or personal judgment and experience.
  • Monitor food quality, taste, and presentation to ensure consistency.
  • Manage and train Cooks and Kitchenhands in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
  • Order and maintain inventory of food and kitchen supplies to meet daily production requirements.
  • Collaborate with management to develop new dishes and enhance existing recipes.
  • Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure efficient food service.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety and food hygiene regulations.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Minimum of relevant AQF Certificate IV qualification (or equivalent).
  • At least two years' relevant employment experience as a Chef.
  • Strong culinary skills and a genuine passion for food.
  • Proven ability to manage and supervise kitchen staff.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
