Sydney-based hospitality group, Liquid & Larder, are searching for a casual driven Chef de Partie to join the team at Bar Julius.

About The Venue:

Located in Sydney's Redfern, on the fringe of Surry Hills and Redfern's creative hub, The EVE sits at the heart of a new lifestyle precinct, Wunderlich Lane, and will feature a rooftop restaurant and bar, poolside dining, lobby bar and dining, as well as an in-room dining service all under Liquid & Larder's remit as the hotel's exclusive hospitality partner.

Bar Julius is The Eve's European-inspired lobby bar. A welcoming and vibrant hub that caters to every taste—open early and up late, from caffeine to cocktails served alongside all-day bistro classics.It's a place for our guests to settle in and reset in this nostalgic bar

About The Role::

To thrive with us, you'll need to be consistent, confident, and ready for a hands-on role. A keen eye for detail and a positive, can-do attitude are essential as we deliver an exceptional all-day dining experience. You'll pivot between preparation and service, with the role focused primarily on day shifts.

Previous experience in a high-energy kitchen is preferred, along with a commitment to maintaining the quality and consistency of every dish we serve.

Your Day-to-Day

Maintain consistency and quality of all food in line with Bar Julius standards.

Embody and promote the company culture within the team.

Ensure proper maintenance and cleaning of all equipment, kitchen surfaces, and work areas.

Provide on-the-job training to staff in line with agreed standards.

Work effectively within our prep kitchen operations.

Carry out additional duties as required to support the role and wider team.

About You:

Proven experience in a Chef de Partie role

A confident and calm demeanour

A genuine passion for hospitality and teamwork

High attention to detail

Strong organisational and communication skills

Availability to work a flexible roster, including weekends, mornings and evenings
