Via Napoli Pizzeria is currently seeking a Head Chef to join our passionate, creative and energetic team.

A Chef's responsibility is to work closely with the restaurant manager to promote a team environment in which Via Napoli operates with utmost efficiency.

The ideal candidate must have:

  • At least 3 years' experience as Chef
  • A passion for food and a thorough understanding of current food trends
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with a Strong team orientation
  • Exceptional Organisational skills
  • Immaculate presentation, attention to detail, creativity and a passion for food
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude
  • Available to work night and weekends
  • Availability to work in any of our locations

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Menu planning and estimating food and labour costs;
  • Stock control and ordering experience;
  • Liaising with suppliers and other personnel;
  • Rostering, hiring and training staff;
  • Supervising kitchen staff, organising their daily duties and monitoring performance;
  • Ensuring that appropriate levels of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained in the kitchen;
