We are proud to introduce an exciting opportunity within Global Retail Brands, Australia's premier specialty homewares retailer, boasting a vast network of 300 stores nationwide. The Marketing Design Coordinator plays a key role in creating visually compelling and effective designs for price tickets, promotional materials, point-of-sale assets, and social media content with a strong sales promotional tone of voice.
Specialising in price ticket creation, this role works closely with the Lead Designer, Product Managers, and Merchandise teams to deliver layouts and creative content that communicate key messages, strengthen brand presence, and drive customer engagement. Leveraging skills in social media content creation and marketing principles, this role also develops extended video content for in-store screens and social platforms, supporting marketing campaigns across all brands.
Key Responsibilities of the role will include but not be limited to:
- Price Ticket & Callout Design –
Create bespoke tickets and callouts for brands including MyHouse, House Bed & Bath, House, and Robins Kitchen - Speciality POS Creation –
Design promotional point-of-sale materials for print and digital channels, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines - Digital & Video Content –
Develop animated TV screen content for Super Stores and House Bed & Bath, as well as video content for social media and online promotion - Campaign & Promotional Asset Support –
Assist with local area marketing (LAM) initiatives, producing compelling campaign visuals, copy, and video overlays for marketing materials - Collaboration & Brand Elevation –
Work with the wider marketing and merchandise teams to elevate brand presence across all channels, highlighting hero products and offers - Process Improvement –
Support the team in enhancing the use of Last Yard software and transitioning towards more automated design processes - Quality & Timeliness –
Ensure all creative outputs are delivered on time, accurately, and to a high standard of effectiveness
About you:
- Proven experience in graphic design or marketing design, ideally in retail or a similar fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and basic video editing/animation skills.
- Strong understanding of promotional design, sales-driven messaging, and brand consistency.
- Experience creating content for multiple platforms including print, in-store screens, and social media.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across marketing, product, and merchandising teams.
- A creative thinker with a passion for design trends and innovative visual storytelling
