Working with the Beach Activities team at Qualia's private Pebble Beach, you'll help our guests explore the turquoise Whitsunday waters – whether it's by catamaran, kayak, paddleboard, or snorkel. You'll share your local knowledge, ensure safety, and provide exceptional service while showcasing some of the world's most breathtaking natural icons..

- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, checked, and safely stored
- Monitor tides and weather conditions to ensure guest and equipment safety
- Deliver personalised service and coaching to enhance the guest experience
You're a true professional who thrives in the outdoors, is seeking a long-term career, and takes pride in delivering outstanding guest experiences. Fit, energetic, and confident on the water, you'll have the skills, initiative, and attitude to represent the prestige of qualia and the Hamilton Island brand.
To be successful, you'll need- Coxswain Grade 3 or above qualification (essential)
- Open/unrestricted driver's licence (essential)
- Senior First Aid Certificate and CPR (essential)
- QLD or nationally accredited RSA (essential)
- Excellent grooming and presentation standards
- Strong knowledge and proficiency across beach and water activities (sailing, kayaking, snorkelling, SUP)
- Great problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive attitude
- A genuine interest in building a long-term career with Hamilton Island, with opportunities for development and internal promotions
- Previous experience in a similar role (highly regarded)
