Job Description
Our client is seeking a professional and enthusiastic Medical Receptionist to join their brand new practice based on the Terrace in Perths CBD. This is not a standard reception role. It offers the opportunity to combine patient care with practice growth and community engagement.

This is a permanent, full-time position suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organised, and enjoys adding a personal touch to every patient and client interaction.

  • Welcoming patients and visitors, ensuring a professional and friendly first impression
  • Managing phone, email, and online enquiries, along with accurate appointment scheduling
  • Handling patient registrations, billing, and Medicare claims
  • Assisting doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals with administrative support
  • Maintaining a tidy, welcoming reception and waiting area in line with the practices professional brand
  • Supporting business development initiatives by promoting services to local employers and community groups
  • Coordinating meetings, assisting with promotional campaigns, and contributing to the practices growth

Qualifications

  • Previous medical reception or administrative experience preferred
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with a professional phone manner
  • The ability to work independently, use initiative, and perform well under pressure
  • Competence with Microsoft Office and practice management systems (Best Practice experience an advantage)
  • Experience in customer-facing or marketing roles highly regarded
  • A proactive, engaging, and approachable personality
