We are seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our Events Department. This hands-on role will see you leading, training, and motivating the team while ensuring every detail of our service exceeds guest expectations.

Your Role

As Food & Beverage Supervisor – Events, you will support the Events team in the smooth delivery of conferences, banquets, and special occasions. From coordinating equipment setups to ensuring dietary requirements are met, you will play a key role in maintaining service excellence and guest satisfaction.

Where you'll make an impact

• Lead, train and support team members to uphold high service standards

• Oversee the smooth setup, service and pack-down of events

• Respond to guest requests, inquiries and complaints with professionalism

• Prioritise safety and manage dietary requirements effectively

• Perform opening and closing duties including cashiering

• Communicate regularly with management to streamline operations

• Identify training needs and assist in staff development

What we're looking for

You are an experienced events professional with strong leadership skills and a genuine passion for hospitality. Your ability to inspire a team while maintaining exceptional guest service will make you stand out.

To be successful, you will need:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Food & Beverage and/or Events

• Background in banqueting, conferences, and large-scale events

• Supervisory experience in banqueting (desirable)

• Strong beverage, wine, and cocktail knowledge

• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills

• Current QLD RSA Certificate and Driver's Licence (essential)

• Basic computer skills and impeccable personal presentation
