Overlooking stunning Catseye Beach, Sails combines a relaxed, open-air atmosphere with refined dining and genuine, intuitive service.

We're seeking enthusiastic Food & Beverage Attendants who thrive in a fast-paced, social environment and take pride in creating memorable dining moments. You'll bring energy, warmth, and a natural flair for intuitive service - anticipating guest needs and adding thoughtful touches that make every visit special.

Your Role

As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you'll be an essential part of our front-of-house team, delivering smooth, attentive, and high-quality service across floor and bar operations. You'll support your team and ensure every guest enjoys a seamless and enjoyable dining experience.

  • Deliver exceptional, intuitive service that makes every guest feel valued

  • Work hands-on across bar and floor operations to support smooth service flow

  • Anticipate guest needs and provide thoughtful, personalised attention

  • Maintain a clean, organised, and well-presented work area

  • Assist with restocking, set-up, and end-of-shift duties

  • Engage with guests in a warm and professional manner, ensuring their experience exceeds expectations

  • Work collaboratively with your team to uphold Sails' relaxed yet polished dining atmosphere

You are a confident and energetic hospitality professional with a genuine passion for service. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, work well in a team, and take pride in delivering quality experiences that reflect the relaxed luxury of Hamilton Island.

To be successful, you'll need:

  • Previous experience in a busy restaurant environment

  • A natural flair for intuitive service -reading the room, anticipating needs, and responding thoughtfully

  • A positive, hands-on attitude with flexibility to support across all service areas

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Nationally Recognised Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate (Essential)
