About the Role

You will be the first point of contact for the People team and our stakeholders, providing exceptional service, administrative support and delivering efficient and informed Human Resources services spanning the entire employee life-cycle for a geographically dispersed workforce across Australia.

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee and manage HR inbox – responding to queries with a proactive and solutions focused approach
  • Partner with hiring managers to provide strategic sourcing advice as well as monitoring and managing the recruitment process
  • Support the administration and management of processes across the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding
  • Action Employment Agreements, contract variations, staff movements, and ensure accuracy and compliance of employee records within all internal HR systems.
  • Support People & Culture Manager and provide advice to internal stakeholders in areas of training and development, performance management, workplace Health, Safety & Wellbeing, employment conditions, and other workplace relations
  • Assist the People & Culture team to develop and implement strategies and initiatives to enhance an engaged, inclusive and positive workplace culture
  • Assist in development and review of policies, procedures and employee training to strengthen knowledge, compliance and consistency across the workforce
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment legislation and guidelines

Position Requirements:

  • Multi-tasking, time-management and excellent attention to detail - this is a busy role where you will be required to balance competing deadlines from various internal stakeholders;
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster effective working relationships across all business departments;
  • Excellent phone manner, customer service and communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, modern awards, and best practices.
  • A qualification in Human Resources (or working towards)
